I am the artist and this is one of the first texture/abstract paintings I've done. I have been an artist my entire life and have sold several pieces across the U.S. as well as over seas. Prior to 2016 I mostly did sculptures and drawings with only a few paintings. Since 2016 I have done over 100 paintings most of which have been sold. My early paintings were of nudes, I then did a few seascapes and landscape and several paintings of animals. This particular painting is one of a few I've done experimentally. I love how this turned out. It is very difficult to get a good photo to show the texture of this painting. I am certain that if you like the painting by these photos that you will LOVE it in person. I used a glass bead medium as well as a sand grit medium which gives a lovely in the cave feeling.
