Before devoting full-time to her artwork, she was an Art teacher for the Pearl River School District in NY the 1960's and 70's. In addition, she lectured on abstract expressionism at the Sunday Art Seminars of St. Thomas Aquinas College and on her drawing technique at Hopper House.
