The sweet young girl, her hair styled in braids, is smiling as she cuddles her rooster. She is wearing a sleeveless dress, tied at the waist. Her skirt flares out slightly from the waist. J.MacDonald Henry (1960-2008) was a Jamaican artist who was born in Kingston. She moved to the U.S. on an art scholarship . She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in painting and design. Frame measures 17" long and 14" wide. Image measures 14" long and 10" wide.
