Cady Wells (1904-1954) Abstract composition unsigned on recto gouache on black paper sight 22 x 15 in. framed 33 1/2 x 26 in. Painted circa 1950. Provenance Canfield Gallery, Santa Fe, New Mexico. From a Paradise Valley, Arizona collection. Exhibited Taos, The Harwood Museum of Art, The Bidstrup and Mahaffey Collection of Taos Moderns , November 8, 2002 - February 9, 2003. In a wood molded Tres Mowka Designs, Santa Fe frame with white mat under Plexiglas.
